So you say you want your daughter to look like a cross bewteen a Bratz doll and a Stepford wife…

…yeah, we can do that. Photos above are © Toni Overby Photography.

I see lots of photo retouching that I am fine with – I feel some are even artful. This site, however, is not one of those cases. I was so horrified when I saw the little girls on this site – their vapid expressions have a real “Stepford Wives In Training” quality. I mean, these girls don’t even look realistic anymore – they have actually taken on a computer generated robotic sort of appearance. I think Vogue magazine covers have less airbrushing than these girls do. Heck, I think any Playboy centerfold has less airbrushing than this!

What are your thoughts on this extensive level of child photo retouching? Do you think it is harmless fun or do you think it sends young girls down a path towards unrealistic expectations of beauty?

I think it’s effin’ creepy! WTF is up with the eyes? They look like those precious moments kids. This is so wrong.

Reminds me of JonBenet Ramsey…why the hell would anyone do this to their child?

Quite honestly, this site looks to be a pedofile’s wet dream. Very disturbing-especially the black and white photos.
