A couple months ago, one of my favorite blogs, Photoshop Disasters, posted an image from Victoria’s Secret website featuring a model holding purse straps in her right hand, but no purse was attached to the straps. (Side note: Since PSD’s posting the folks over at Victoria’s Secret must have slapped their foreheads and yelled out a loud Homer Simpson-esque “D’OH!” because they fixed the image.)
Missing purses aside, Dr. Neal Krawetz over at Hacker Factor thought the photo still looked suspect and going on the “no one fixes just one thing” principle, began to digitally dissect the photo. If that wasn’t enough to make me giggle with glee, after Victoria’s Secret fixed the invisible purse Dr. Krawetz digitally dissected the befores, afters, and all the dress colors.
Dr. Krawetz, will you marry me?
