A sparkling bad Shop…

by Mick on April 15, 2010

TLS reader Nathanael emailed in that he really likes the natural sparkling juice spritzers by R.W. Knudsen. What he didn’t like so much when he checked out their website? This sparkling bad Shop [source]…

R. W. Knudesen's sparkingly bad Shop

Don’t even get me going on the inconsistent lighting of the soda cans. This is Photoshop Disaster level work here, folks. Thanks for the submit, Nathanael!

In regard to Nathanael’s comment, the original photo actually did have the bucket. So he’s only half right. The new product cans (mockups) were Photoshopped in so that there would be a place holder on the web site for the transition to the newly designed product. This, like most product manufacturer’s in the business, is done until final photography can be done to replace the place holder. If you go to the site you will discover that the new image is in place. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!

Thanks for commenting! It is rare that companies will own up to their Photoshoppery! ;)
